Aural & Musicianship

Lower age limit: Year 4 (no upper limit)

Levels taught: Beginner to Advanced

Musicianship is a vast subject, and one often overlooked. David can provide musicianship training at all levels; lessons combine theory and practical work to develop skills such as improvisation, analysis and listening. Some students may wish to enter for Practical Musicianship examinations offered by ABRSM: a pass at Grade 5 can be used as the pre-requisite for Grade 6 and above instrumental exams, and at Grade 6 and 8, for the DipABRSM and LRSM in Teaching, respectively.
