“…some lively and imaginative ideas…there is some effective writing in the piano accompaniments”

Alison Uren (in Pan Magazine, June 2008)

"This short and well-known prayer from the 13th century begins “Day by day, dear Lord, of thee three things I pray.” The opening verse of text is composed using soprano only followed by a four-part setting of the repeated text. The anthem is quite simple musically, to compliment the profoundness of the text."
